Police Hunt Fugitive Sex Offenders

Police recently arrested 5 fugitive sex offenders who had been on the run for months. There are still three wanted sex offenders on the loose. Detective Sam McJunkins of TAPD says his department is actively searching for each. They even enlist the help of U. S. Marshals for those believed to have left the area.
A woman living in the area where fugitive Julio Barrios used to live says she was shocked to learn a wanted sex offender was so close. She asked not to be identified, but says from now on she will check the online registry for sex offenders in her area.
Police say they will continue home checks on registered sex offenders to verify they are where they claim to be.
