A Local Marine Is Buried In Claiborne Parish

Marine Eric Bowman spent the last days of his life protecting freedom overseas. Bowman was killed when an insurgents` bomb came too close to the humvee he as in. This was Bowman`s second tour in Iraq, before he left he told friends he was concerned he wouldn`t make it back. Bowman was twenty-two when he died.
