Man Fatally Shot On Hearne Avenue

A 34-year-old man was shot and killed as he drove northbound in the 3300 block of Hearne Avenue about 12:15 a.m. Monday. Gerald Jackson of Shreveport was stopped at a red light when the suspect vehicle pulled up beside him and opened fire. He was taken to Willis-Knighton North by private auto but he succumbed to his injuries. The suspects were two black males in their early 20s driving what could be a white Lincoln Towncar. An investigation is underway. If anyone has information about this case, call detectives at 673-6955.
