Cameras Help Police Crack Down On Crime

It has been three years, and the cameras have become a crime fighting tool for police. Right now, the department has three cameras in use. They plan to buy eight more using funds set aside by the city council.
Video recorded evidence collected by the surveillance cameras lead to forty-six indictments.
Police monitor the cameras set up in the neighborhoods from a central location. In the future, they hope to be able to pull up the video on their lap tops in the field.
