Local Marine Killed In Iraq

By: Import User
Updated: February 5, 2007
Those who knew marine John Hale are mourning his loss. Hale graduated from Huntington high school in Shreveport two years ago. Hale was the captain of the football team and battalion leader for the ROTC program. Those close to Hale say he was destined to be a marine. The faculty at the school expected Hale to serve his country, they never expected his life would be cut short. Hale`s family has not made funeral arrangements yet. They say they are still waiting on the body to be flown in from overseas. That process could take a few weeks.
