North Caddo Parish Community Without Water

Residents of East Mooringsport are without water.
A pump blew out over the weekend that distributes water from the holding pond in East Mooringsport to the treatment tanks.
East Mooringsport water officials say after the pump blew, wiring also shorted out. Now, workers have to replace the pump and re-do the electricity to the pump.
Money has been an issue for East Mooringsport Water since the death of the Company`s Owner. Officials are asking the community to pay their water bills so the company can buy a new pump.
Officials say the water should be restored within the next couple of days.
