Update: West 74th Street Shooting

 The search is on for the person responsible for an early morning shooting in Shreveport. According to police, 36-Year-Old Nicom Harper, a member of the National Guard was shot in the head. He was found a little after 2 a.m. Friday morning in the 700 Block of 74th Street. Harper was transported to LSU hospital where he later died.  A woman believed to be his girlfriend, also suffered a gun shot wound. At last check she was in critical condition.
