Teen To Spend Life Behind Bars For Murder

A teenager charged with 1st Degree Murder of an 80-year-old fruit stand operator will serve life behind bars. Inside a Nevada County courtroom, 18-year-old Kevin Barton admitted to pistol whipping, then shooting James H. Cummings in July 2004. Barton also faces charges in the death of Arlene Tate of Arkadelphia. That trial will be held in October.
