Gas Leak Shuts Down Linwood Road Thursday

A gas main leak shut down a major Shreveport street Thursday causing some traffic congestion.
It happened around 10:30 a.m. on Linwood Avenue between West 84th and West 85th Streets.
Shreveport Firefighters were called out after officials say Swepco contracted electrical workers dug into the gas line.
Authorities say there were no evacuations and the line was fixed a few hours later.
