Bonnie Williams has lived in Southern Hills for over 20 years and describes it as quiet place a place where you can rely on your neighbors that is until Eric Mickelson moved in. "I was really surprised to find that someone in the neighborhood was the type of personality that he was,” explained Bonnie Williams, Mickelson’s neighbor. Mickelson has been charged with the murder of Charles Martin, and has also told authorities he is connected to the death of Kristi O’Pry. But this isn’t the first time Mickelson has met up with the Sheriff's Department; he has charges dating back to May of 1997. "He does have some history with what some people would call non-violent crimes. Coin operation device, break ins and theft,” said Lt. Bill Rehak, Caddo Sheriff’s Office. Neighbors say Mickelson lived with his mother and during the early morning hours they would hear car doors open and close and many times they saw what they called "exchanges" occur at the end of his driveway. But Mike Davis lives across the street and admits he was clueless. "Very little traffic up and down the street as far as I know, very little traffic from the house, I never noticed anything late at night or anything,” commented Mike David, Mickelson’s neighbor. Since being in custody, Mickelson has been cooperating with investigators. "He has been cooperating with us with the interviews and anything that he has told us, or suggested we're looking into it,” explained Lt. Rehak. They are looking into any clues that could lead them closer to answers, answers that have been waiting to be exposed for more than a decade.
