Day & Zimmermann Texarkana VP To Retire

After 46 years, Day and Zimmermanns Texarkana plant will be without their leader. Jerry Smith announced his retirement effective July 26. Smith served as D&Z vice president and general manager at Lone Star Army Ammunitions Plant. Smith says he will be available until August in order to help ensure a smooth transition for the companys replacement.
