$33,000 has been raised for the family of a slain Bowie County Sheriffs deputy. A dinner and auction was held to raise money for Deputy Michael Pages wife and children. More than 1,500 people attended the fundraiser held in New Boston, Texas. Items were donated by the community and local businesses to be auctioned off. "We would like to thank everyone for their donations, their hard work, for turning out and buying items we had to sell. Our whole community came out to support this family and we appreciate it," says Chief Deputy Larry Parker with the Bowie County Sheriffs Office.
