Detectives with the Shreveport Police Department are investigating the shooting of the owner of Serenity Nail and Spa on Youree Drive. Officers got the call just before 8:00 Tuesday night. Police say the owner and his girlfriend had just closed and locked up the store and were leaving when the womans ex boyfriend allegedly approached the couple and forced them back into the store. From there, police say the suspect shot the man in the back, then fled north on Youree Drive. Police caught up with and arrested him shortly after the incident. 39 year old Hieu Truong, was taken to a local hospital where he underwent surgery for a wound to the stomach. Suspect, Truong Phan, was arrested and charged with aggrivated assault. The injuries to the stores owner appear life-threatening.
