A Texarkana, Arkansas man has been charged with Aggravated Assault on a Correctional Facility Employee after he allegedly threw feces onto a correctional officer at the Bi-State Jail. 32-Year-Old Scott Story was in TAPD custody on misdemeanor warrant charges at the time. On September 3, 2006, Correctional officers noticed that the food tray slot had been left open to the suspect`s cell door. Upon approaching the cell, the correctional officers noticed toilet paper and fecal matter on the floor outside the door. Officers say the suspect, who was still inside the cell, became belligerent with correctional officers and managed to throw fecal matter on one of the officers through the open tray door. Story`s charges were upgraded to Aggravated Assault on a Correctional Facility Employee which is a Class D Felony. He has been transferred to the Miller County Jail, where he will have to go before a judge for a bond to be set. This is the first time TAPD has investigated an offense of this type.
