A California jury acquitted ex-sheriff's deputy Ivory Webb, Jr., the man who shot Elio Carrion while he was on leave in California. Webb faced two charges, voluntary manslaughter and assault with a deadly weapon. This after a high speed chase where Carrion was the passenger. According to Webb, Carrion refused to follow police orders. That's when the deputy shot him. Carrion's family says a tape presented in court proves Carrion was identifying himself as military. But the family believes the jury had their minds made up about not charging the deputy. The Carrion's plan to file charges against the deputy in federal court because they feel they did not get a fair trial in San Bernadino.
