A man who managed a Bossier City video game store frequented by children was arrested Thursday for computer aided solicitation of a minor for sexual purposes.
Michael P. Bato, 26, of Shreveport, was arrested following an investigation by Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Robert Greer.
Greer said Bato sent a 13-year-old girl over 50 messages on her MySpace page over a three-day period. After receiving a complaint from the girl’s parent, Greer began investigating Bato and posed as the girl to correspond with him. During those conversations, Bato reportedly made sexually explicit comments and stated he was looking for a girlfriend.
Bato was arrested at his workplace and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.
