Suspect In Claiborne Homicide Now In Custody

A man accused of stabbing an elderly woman to death turned himself into authorities Thursday afternoon.
37-year-old, Lovell Wilson has been charged with first degree murder in connection with, 83-year-old, Iva Parker`s death.
Parker`s body was found by a friend Wednesday morning.
Authorities went to question Wilson at his mother`s house and he ran, leading them on a manhunt that last more than 24 hours.
Lovell`s mother, Essie Henderson waited most of the day for her son to return home and give himself up.
"I don`t believe he did it, he got to give himself up to prove he is innocent."
Wilson`s girlfriend, 26-year-old, Franequa Jones is also charged with first degree murder. They`re both being held in the Claiborne Parish Jail.
