Low Vision Rehab Center Opens

The center is a one stop shopping place for people with blindness and low vision problems. Clients receive training there, get eye exams and there is even a retail store where they can buy adaptive aids and appliances. The goal for those who work at the center is to help all of those with blindness and low vision problems follow their daily routines. Before the new low vision center opened it's doors in Shreveport the closest center was about one hour away.

Police arrest suspect in stabbing

An argument between two brothers ends with a stabbing in the cedar grove neighborhood.

it happened shortly after 11 this morning at the corner of 73rd and southern avenue in shreveport.

police say 26 year old edward bouya was stabbed in the chest by his 16 year old brother.

bouya was taken to a local hospital with non- life threatening injuries..

his brother is charged with aggravated battery... His name is being with held because he is a minor..
