Bossier Police Department Investigating Shooting

Bossier City police are investigating a shooting that injured one man overnight. Officers were called to the 2100 block of Nina Street at approximately 12:30 a.m. Tuesday where they found a man identified as 22-year-old Jeremy A. Jefferson lying in a ditch with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
Personnel with the Bossier City Fire Department transported him to LSU Hospital in Shreveport where he underwent surgery. His condition is unknown at this time however he is expected to survive his injury. No arrests have been made at this point in the investigation which remains ongoing.
