
Two early morning robberies kept the Shreveport police hard at work Sunday. They happened at the same time and both were at Dollar General stores. One was at the store on Shreveport Barksdale Highway. Police say the suspect entered waving a knife demanding cash. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The second robbery took place at the Dollar General on Hearne Avenue. This time, police say the suspect entered the store asking to use the phone. Once inside, he pulled a gun and forced employees to the back of the store. He also fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt in either of the robberies.
