Local Band Makes it Big

JuniorAlbum2007-06-24-1182733832.jpgA local band has made it big. Junior, a three member band with a punk-rock flair has just released their first album. The band signed on with an independent label called Toucan Cove Entertainment right after getting discovered at the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin. But even before that, Junior had fans all over the world. Their unique sound has caught on in places as far away as China. Their new C.D is called "Are We Famous Yet." and it hit stores two weeks ago.

Police arrest suspect in stabbing

An argument between two brothers ends with a stabbing in the cedar grove neighborhood.

it happened shortly after 11 this morning at the corner of 73rd and southern avenue in shreveport.

police say 26 year old edward bouya was stabbed in the chest by his 16 year old brother.

bouya was taken to a local hospital with non- life threatening injuries..

his brother is charged with aggravated battery... His name is being with held because he is a minor..
