Water Rates To Decrease for Some

Monday night Shreveport City Council also talked about water sewer rates for 2009.
About 30 percent of residents will see a rate decrease. Single residents who use little water will pay a minimum fee.
But rates will rise for commercial and industrial customers by 19 percent. The increase will bring in about three million in revenue.
