Shreveport Candidates To Participate In Special Fire Program

Candidates working to become Shreveport`s next Mayor and City Councilors will soon get a hands on introduction on how the city`s largest agency works. Shreveport Fire is hosting a "Get to know your Fire Department" Program Thursday morning. Included in the program will be live demonstrations of the department`s Emergency Medical Services and firefighting expertise. All candidates who officially filed for candidacy of the Mayor`s office or City Council seats were invited to attend. Those on the mayoral list who have RSVP include, Ed Bradley, Jerry Jones, Liz Swaine, Arlena Acree, and Max Malone.
