dAnimal Control officers in Hope, Arkansas are doing their work differently since their work truck was stolen. The theft occurred last month. Animal Control worker Gerald Session parked his truck at the city compound after a day's work. The next morning, his truck wasn't where he left it. "When I pulled up I noticed the gates were knocked down. I started looking around and I noticed our truck was gone," Session added. The 1999 GMC truck is still missing. Police have worked a few leads, but are now asking for the public's help. "We have had some possible sightings. We have been to those areas but nothing has come to fruition, " said Police Chief, J.R. Wilson. For now Animal Control workers are borrowing a truck from Public Works. "We are back in business, it is just more difficult than what it was before." Most of the equipment that was in the truck has been replaced, but Session says it could be a while before they see a new truck. "We'll get another rigged but it will probably be this time next year." Chief Wilson says he doesn't believe that the suspects responsible for stealing the truck are from the area. If you have any information you are asked to call the Hope Police Department at 870.777.3434. The plate number on the White GMC truck reads # 9-5-7-C-N-L.
