Livestock Gear Protected

Local authorities are working to protect valuable live stock gear in the area.
The Livestock Brand Commission microchiped saddles for horse owners Saturday afternoon.
The purpose of the micro chip is to mark valuable property so it can be identified and returned to the owner.
The microchips only cost $7.50 and authorities say they`re worth it.
The data taken on the saddles will be kept on file by the Sheriff`s Stock Patrol and the Livestock Brand Commission.
