Rock Solid Sports has brought new life to an old Broadmoor facility. The Riverside Swim and Tennis Center closed five years ago, and was on its way to be a high dollar residential area. However, an anonymous donation gave the complex to Shelley McMillian and Rock Solid Sports for her Christian-based sports camps. McMillian had been visiting the property, and praying for an opportunity there. Since November, she and her friends have been clearing the property of five years of growth and neglect. Now, there is a pool, new tennis courts, a rock-climbing wall, and soon, an ice skating rink. The first summer is packed with activites for kids and adults.
