By: Staff
Updated: May 17, 2007
fThis weekend will mark the 4th anniversary of the disappearance of Christopher Michael Pierce. Michael, who resided in Shreveport, was 18 years old when he was last seen leaving work at the Taco Bell in the 4100 of Barksdale Boulevard around midnight of May 19, 2003. Michael is described as a while male, 6’ 0”, 275 pounds with green eyes and brown hair. He was last seen driving away from work in his 1988 red Jeep Comanche pickup truck with Louisiana license plate W031965. Michael would now be 22 years of age. At this point in the investigation Bossier City Police detectives have exhausted all leads in Michael’s case and have no indication that he was the victim of foul play. Efforts by Bossier City Police detectives to located Michael included searches on foot, by boat and helicopter of the Red River, particularly an area of sand bars on the Shreveport side of the river where Michael was known to ride his pickup truck. Michael’s grandmother, Judy Downes of Gallatin, Tennessee, has informed the Bossier City Police Department that family members and friends will hold a candlelight vigil for Christopher in Nashville on Friday night, May 18, 2007. Anyone with information regarding Christopher’s whereabouts is asked to contact Bossier City Police at (318) 741-8683.
