Caddo Parish Teachers Rally For Pay Raises

Louisiana_State_Building2007-05-04-1178296404.jpgOne hundred thirty school teachers boarded two buses headed to Baton Rouge.  High school teacher Cleve Arkansas was one of the teachers headed to the State Capitol, Their hope is that their show of support could possibly get pay raises for teachers. Last year Caddo Parish School employees did receive a five percent pay raise, but the President of the Caddo Parish Federation of teachers says the raise didn't make much of a difference for those with low salaries.
