New Power Plant Site Announced For Fulton, AR

Governor Mike Huckabee will be in Texarkana, announcing the site of a billon dollar power plant that`s bringing jobs with it. Huckabee and other state officials, along with AEP and SWEPCO executives, will announce a coal-fired `base load` generating facility will be located near Fulton, which is about twenty minutes from Texarkana. The facility is designed to meet long term power generation needs of the area, and should be operational by 2011.
