cCaddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator is making two new features available on the Sheriff’s Office website that will give citizens prompt access to public information. The Sheriff announced that booking information from Caddo Correctional Center is now available on line. By going to www.caddosheriff.org and clicking on inmates on line, citizens can view a list of persons currently being held at CCC.

The website includes a booking photo, physical description, list of charges, bond amount, and any previous arrests for each person currently being housed at the parish correctional facility. In another move, the Sheriff is posting weekly sheriff’s sale information on line. Viewers can log on to access information in three categories – movable property, immovable property, and vehicles. Click on the date of the sale and receive more information such as suit number, plaintiff, defendant, attorney, legal description, writ value, and appraisal information. Weekly sheriff’s sales are held every Wednesday, excluding holidays, at 10 a.m. in room G-1 at the Caddo Parish Courthouse at 501 Texas Street. Bidding is open to all persons. Payments must be made by 2 p.m. on the day of the sale. Only certified funds are accepted.
