eddieimage2007-04-09-1176158259.JPGIt's an honor usually reserved for political leaders, but today, the late Eddie Robinson is lying in state at the Louisiana Capitol. Robinson coached the Grambling State University tigers for 57 years, winning 408 games. He also sent more than 200 players to the NFL. Just as they played for Robinson on the field, Grambling's Marching Band played "just a closer walk with thee" as pallbearers carried his casket into the Capitol. The 88-year-old had been diagnosed with alzheimer's disease. Robinson's burial is set for Wednesday.
