Shreveport Police are investigating an overnight shooting that killed a woman and wounded 2 men. Police say the gunfire broke out just after 11:00 p.m. Sunday at the Villa Del Lago Apartments in the 3500 block of Milam Street. Authorities say when they arrived on scene, they found 35-year-old Leslie Russell outside of the apartment door with several gunshot wounds. Police say the shooting stemmed from an argument between Russell's boyfriend, 24-year-old DeAngelo James and her estranged husband, 28-year-old LaQuinta Watson. Police believe Leslie Russell got caught in the middle of the shooting. Watson was shot in the leg, he faces charges of illegal use of a weapon. Charges could be upgraded pending the autopsy. Authorities also say charges are pending against James, who was shot in both legs.
