zThe district court of Texarkana, Arkansas has extended their amnesty program until April 30th. It is being offered to those with failure to appear and contempt warrants, and people who have fines to pay can do so without being arrested. So far, the program has been a huge success. "We have collected $40,000 and there have been 120 people that have come in and paid," says court clerk Wanda Davis. You can handle your amnesty requests during regular business hours at Bi-State Justice Building in Texarkana.
