SWEPCO Crews Restoring Power To Homes On East 67th Street

SWEPCO Crews were busy Wednesday afternoon cleaning up Debris that created quite a road hazard. A large tree fell in the middle of East 67th Street, knocking down a few utility poles along the way. Most of the street lost power. SWEPCO Crews say power is now restored to all but 15 customers out of the 185 affected. Power should be fully restored by 8:00 P.M.

Six members of EXPLO Systems management team, including the company's president and secretary-treasurer were taken into custody without incident by Webster Parish Sheriff's deputies Tuesday afternoon. The arrests were in connection with the Oct. 15, 2012 bunker explosion at Camp Minden that was felt as far away as Arkansas.
