Zachary Lewis, the survivor of a fatal accident got some help from the community on Saturday. He was involved in an accident that killed his girlfriend, 17 year old Amanda Sparaco. A group of Zacharys high school friends put on a benefit to raise money for Zacharys medical expenses. The event was at North Caddo High School stadium. Hundreds of people came out to enjoy live entertainment, good food and fun games. Money from ticket sales went to Zacharys family. The benefit was held from 4:00pm until about 7:30pm. Within three and a half hours, they were able to raise over $10,000. One of Zacharys friends says, "Were just trying to do a good thing for him and pay him back for everything hes done for us. And this is his time of need and we are trying to pay him back."
