Southern University To Get Millions

The State Bond Committee approved 34.4 million dollars for Central and North Louisiana. Southern University will receive 17.5 million of that money. University officials plan to use to the funds to build new dorms on the campus. Right now there are no dorms at the university. The chancellor says having the dorms will attract more students to Southern.
