Updated: January 7, 2009
Bossier City`s Isle of Capri Casino is history. Now Diamond Jacks Casino and Resort has opened in its place. The property was acquired by Legends Gaming earlier this year. Isle of Capri closed its doors around 3 am Tuesday, so the new owners could re-format gaming chips and update computer software. The casino re-opened as Diamond Jacks Tuesday afternoon. The new owners are planning a complete renovation of the facility including extensive redecoration and re-branding of existing restaurants. They expect to be finished by the end of the year.
