Foster Campbell Joins Louisiana Governor's Race

Public Service Commissioner Foster Campbell officially announced his candidacy for Governor of Louisiana Monday, as part of a two-day press tour. Campbell's tour began at the Katrina Memorial in New Orleans at 9:00am, ending that day at Bossier Citys Holiday Inn's Pimlico Room at 3:30pm. On Tuesday, the tour will continue with stops in Monroe, Alexandria, Lake Charles, and Lafayette. Campbell joins a field that includes Republican State Senator Walter Boasso, Republican U.S. Representative Bobby Jindal, and incumbent, Democratic Governor Kathleen Blanco. The primary is set for October 20th.
