Accused Rapist Caught

After four days on the run, an accused rapist in now behind bars. All week Shreveport police have been looking for a man accused of carjacking and sexually assaulting a woman at the Capitol One ATM near I-20 and Greenwood road. Early this morning police spotted the suspect, Anthony Ashley, in the 1900 block of Portland. Police say Ashley took off running when the officer on duty called out to him. A K-9 unit was released. After a brief chase Ashley was caught and taken to LSU Medical Center to be treated for a dog bite.

Officials believe that some victims were counted twice immediately following the storm.
