Wadelin Sumlin was arrested Tuesday by U.S. Marshals in Dallas. Sumlin is facing first degree and attempted second degree murder charges. Police say he shot and killed Quantravius WEbb and injured Shannon Sanders January 9th outside the Northwood 2 Apartments on Grimmett Drive. Then, three days later, police say he shot two other people in front of the Grimmett Drive Apartments next door. Shreveport Police Department Spokesperson Kacee Hargrave tells KTAL that Sumlin will be extradited back to Shreveport later this week.
