gunShreveport Police have arrested two people and are looking for information regarding three others in connection with a shooting last night in the MLK neighborhood. Jeremy Taylor, 18, and Rieco Bryant, 20, both of Shreveport were captured by Shreveport police after Cpl. Tisha Lensey noticed the car they were in matched the description of a vehicle  involved in a shots fired call earlier in the evening in the 1700 block of Joe Louis. Police say Taylor, Bryant and three others in the car led Lensey on a pursuit throughout the MLK neighborhood and bailed out of the car near a cemetery on Willis Street. When they ran, one of the suspects was armed with a handgun and allegedly pointed it at Lensey. Lensey fired one shot from her service weapon, but no one was reportedly struck. She then captured the driver, who was Bryant. Taylor was captured a short distance away by Lt. Bobby Wilbert. A Mac 10 also was recovered. The others, whose identities are unknown, fled toward the Peach Street Apartments. Taylor is charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, while Bryant is charged with felony flight from an officer. The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
