Sunday Morning Crash Sends Two to Hospital

A two car crash near Dixie sent two people to the hospital Sunday morning. One person was transported by Life-Air after the accident on Highway 71. Police say a northbound truck pulling a trailer lost its rear passenger wheel. A small car going southbound swerved to miss the tire, then overcorrected, clipping the truck. The passenger in the car was transported by life air, both people in the car had non-life threatening injuries. no one in the truck was injured.
