stabbingShreveport Police detectives have upgraded charges against a Shreveport woman after the victim she allegedly stabbed died of her wounds. Sharon Mudd, 50, is now charged with second-degree murder for the stabbing death of Claire Elizabeth Brouillette, 32, of Marksville, Louisiana. The stabbing occurred early Saturday morning about 6:30 a.m. in the 2600 block of Bibb Street at the Grace Recovery House. When police arrived, they found the victim collapsed in the street with stab wounds to her upper chest. The suspect was standing nearby.
