Skating Rink Brawl

By: Jessica James
Updated: March 5, 2007
policeShreveport Police have their hands on some home video that shows adults fist-fighting inside the Hot Wheels Skating Palace on Bert Kouns Industrial Loop while children scramble to avoid being hurt. After watching the tape, given to detectives by a dad who was filming his son's birthday party when the fight broke out, investigators want to find the two they say started the fight. The suspects, whose identities have not been released, are dating. And, the victim is the girl's ex-boyfriend. Eyewitnesses say the female started fighting with the ex-boyfriend and the current boyfriend stepped into help. We're told no children were hurt during the scuffle. There is an arrest warrant out for the female involved. If you were at the rink on Saturday afternoon and witnessed the fight, or if you recognize the people in the video, call Shreveport Crimestoppers at (318) 673-7373.
