Convicted Killer Gets 30 Years

A Miller County man who admitted to killing his friend has been sentenced to 30 years behind bars. Eddie Burgess pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the shooting death of Frank Cullinan last week. It happen in December 2005. Burgess loaned Cullinan more than $7,000. The two were arguing over that money when Burgess shot and killed him.
