Williams settles in, Calvary beats Evangel

SHREVEPORT - Calvary got two runs in the seventh and one in eighth to beat their district rivals 3-2 in the opening game of Class 2A District 1 play.

Cavaliers' ace Garrett Williams was touched for two runs in the third, but settled-in, shutting out the  Eagles the rest of the way, allowing his offense rally for the win.
