An elementary school was placed on lockdown for nearly three hours in Marshall.
Due to a privacy issue, faculty officials won't release many details about what happened at South Marshall Elementary.
Between 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday all the doors were locked so that no one could enter or leave the building as a precaution to secure students and staff.
Police came to the campus to investigate but classes continued once they determined that no one was in danger.
