A man who led authorities on a car chase in South Shreveport faces eight additional charges.
The Caddo Parish Sheriff's office says Terence Carthren, 40, now faces four counts of theft and four counts of issuing worthless checks.
Carthren, who has been on the run for the past three months, was taken into custody early Thursday morning on Youree Drive.
Shortly after 5:30 a.m. Carthren was spotted in a car outside his home but when Caddo Sheriff's deputies tried to approach him he drove away. Authorities chased Carthren for several miles before he stopped his vehicle in a parking lot.
Carthren was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on a warrant for 11 counts of felony theft and a fugitive warrant from the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office. He was also charged with aggravated flight from an officer.
