Residents start heading to the polls

You will soon have an opportunity to cast your vote early in Bossier and Caddo Parish.

This weekend early voting begins for the April 6 election.

There are several items on the ballot including tax continuation proposals as well as council and alderman positions.

In Caddo Parish you can vote at the Registrar of Voters office on Marshall St. and in Bossier Parish you can vote at the Registrar of Voters office on 204 Burt Blvd. in Benton.

Early voting starts Saturday, March 23 through Saturday, March 30, with the exception of Sunday, March 24 and Good Friday. 

The hours for both Bossier and Caddo Parish are from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
