I-20 on-ramp blocked by overturned trailer

An I-20 on-ramp was blocked off Thursday morning due to a roll-over accident.

Just before 4:00 a.m., a Conway tractor pulling two trailers tried turning left onto a westbound on-ramp from the Industrial Loop overpass. As the driver turned, the second trailer overturned onto the side of the road.

Shreveport Police are working the scene, and say it could take a few hours to get the trailer is up righted.

They tell us that the truck's hitch was probably broken and when the weight shifted, the trailer turned sideways.
